Faulty or Damaged Items

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is faulty, defective, or damaged in transit, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe an item is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can assist with resolving the issue.

Return Shipping Costs

If a product is confirmed to be faulty, defective, or damaged in transit, reasonable return shipping costs may be covered by Gearsons Auto Parts.

If an item is returned and no fault is found, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Incorrect Orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct part is selected prior to purchase.

Gearsons Auto Parts does not guarantee compatibility based solely on vehicle make, model, or year. Customers should verify the manufacturer part number or contact us for assistance before purchasing.

Returns for incorrect orders may be considered at our discretion and may be subject to return conditions.

Fitment confirmation is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Return Conditions

Where a return is approved, items must:

  • Be unused and uninstalled
  • Be returned in original packaging where possible
  • Include proof of purchase

Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Approved claims will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refund processing may take up to 10 business days after approval. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
